Local Museum Hinwil
The Local Museum Hinwil is dedicated to the history and development of Hinwil in the 18th and 19th centuries. In an original half-timbered house, living spaces from around 1800, agricultural work, traditional crafts, and a house organ from 1856 are displayed. The museum also includes a fire brigade museum in the engine house and a storage depot.
Families and Kids
The local museum is family-friendly and offers a family day with old games. Many objects can be tried out. School classes are welcome; there is a curiosity case with around 30 museum objects to borrow.
