Les Vieux Moulins de la Tine
Les Vieux Moulins de la Tine is a historic mill site located in the gorges of the Vièze de Morgins in Troistorrents, Switzerland. Water from a bisse drives a horizontal wheel that turns the vertical shaft of the mill, powering the millstone to husk and grind grain, crush fruit and oilseeds, and pound hemp. Over time a press, a hemp fulling mill and a sawmill were added, and a restored forge with its bellows is also part of the site. The museum hosts changing temporary events and demonstrations of traditional crafts.
