Laténium

Archaeological park and museum located near Neuchâtel, Switzerland, presenting 500 centuries of regional history from the Palaeolithic to the Renaissance. The permanent exhibition spans 2200 m² across eight rooms, featuring archaeological objects, models, and audiovisual media. The museum also includes an archaeological park with reconstructions of pile dwellings and a Roman barge.

Families and Kids

The Laténium offers creative workshops for children's birthdays (e.g. prehistoric paintings, Roman mosaic), a prehistoric playground in the archaeological park, and mini-labs with games in the permanent exhibition. Workshops are available for ages 5+ and birthday packages include a snack at the café.
