Kunsthaus Baselland
Kunsthaus Baselland is a leading exhibition house for contemporary art in the Basel region, located in Münchenstein near Basel, Switzerland. Since 1998 it has offered regional, national and international artists a platform for solo, group and thematic exhibitions, with many artists receiving their first institutional presentation here. The institution also maintains a collection of regional art and hosts changing temporary exhibitions. The building, designed by Buchner Bründler Architekten, was transformed from a former champagne warehouse into a modern art institution on the Dreispitz campus.
Families and Kids
The Kunsthaus Baselland offers a varied education programme for children and families, including Family Sundays with free admission for children and their accompanying adults, and Walk-In Ateliers (drop-in workshops). Guided tours and workshops for families are available in German, English and French.
