Kunsthalle Ziegelhütte
The Kunsthalle Ziegelhütte in Appenzell, Switzerland, is part of the Kunstmuseum/Kunsthalle Appenzell, representing modern and contemporary art alongside a classical concert programme. The Kunsthalle presents changing exhibitions exploring themes such as technology, the body, and community, and hosts a classical concert series in its Ringofen (brick kiln) hall. It also features an art library, an open space for visitors, and a video projection room. The venue hosts changing temporary exhibitions throughout the year.
Families and Kids
Children and families are warmly invited to explore and create at the Kunsthalle. The Offener Raum provides space to deepen impressions with pencils, paper and materials, and a free 'Schau Genau' brochure guides families through the visit. The Goofe-Atelier opens the museum studio on Wednesday afternoons for children and young people, and family workshops such as ceramics workshops are also offered.
