Kunst(Zeug)Haus

The Kunst(Zeug)Haus in Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland, is an art museum whose collection comprises around 6,500 paintings, drawings, sculptures, installations and video works by some 800 Swiss artists from 1950 to the present day. In addition to changing exhibitions in the light-flooded hall on the upper floor, the museum presents a new thematic collection exhibition each year in the ground-floor collection wing. The collection was built up by Peter and Elisabeth Bosshard since 1971 and transferred to the Kunst(Zeug)Haus foundation in 2006. The museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions.

Children can pick up a free art discovery sheet at the reception for the collection exhibition, and a small painting table in the café invites the youngest to be creative while adults enjoy their coffee and tea.
