kriSTALL Guttannen

kriSTALL Guttannen in Guttannen, Switzerland, is an immersive experience museum dedicated to the world of mountain crystals. Housed in a historic barn, it presents the extraordinary Rufibach family crystal collection through a sensory journey of light, sound, and video. The exhibition tells the story of crystal formation, the history of mineral mining (Strahlerei) in the Grimsel region, and the personal stories of the families who dedicated their lives to finding these treasures. The museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions.

Families and Kids

Children can search for real crystals in a large gravel pit opposite the exhibition and take their finds home. The immersive experience with light, sound, and crystals is suitable for children of all ages.
