International Museum of the Reformation

Located in Geneva, Switzerland, the International Museum of the Reformation (MIR) is the only secular institution devoted to the history of the Reformation and Protestantism. Its permanent exhibition "A History of the Reformation" unfolds across nine spaces in the 18th-century Maison Mallet, presenting paintings, objects, books, engravings and audiovisual installations, including two portraits of Luther by Cranach, a personal letter by Calvin and a testimony of Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Visitors can use free audio guides in fourteen languages and augmented-reality animations of fifteen major works. The museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions.

The museum offers family guided tours once a month, specially adapted for families, with activities such as discovering the details of a work and printing one's own engraving, recommended from age 7. A special family rate is available for one adult and one child.
