Hus-Haus

The Hus-Haus in Konstanz, Germany, has been a place of remembrance for the Czech scholar and reformer Jan Hus for over 200 years. The half-timbered house at the Schnetztor gate was, according to tradition, the lodging of Jan Hus before his arrest in November 1414. Since 1980 the house has housed a permanent exhibition on Jan Hus, dedicated to his life, work, martyrdom and legacy. The museum works closely with the Hussite Museum in Tábor and also presents changing special exhibitions.
