HR Giger Museum
The HR Giger Museum is located in the medieval Château St. Germain in Gruyères, Switzerland. It houses the most extensive collection of artworks from HR Giger's various creative periods, spanning from the early 1960s to the present day, including his famous biomechanical paintings and film designs for productions such as Alien, Dune, Species and Poltergeist 2. The top floor features a permanent exhibition of Giger's private art collection and a museum gallery with rotating exhibitions of international artists. Adjacent to the museum is the immersive Museum HR Giger Bar, a walk-in work of art inspired by the Baroque period and Giger's biomechanical designs.
