House of Museums

The Haus der Museen in Olten houses three museums under one roof: the Archaeological Museum of the Canton of Solothurn, the Historical Museum of Olten, and the Natural History Museum of Olten. The Archaeological Museum presents archaeological finds from 80,000 years of history, the Historical Museum explores the city's railway history, and the Natural History Museum showcases the region's natural history with fossils and taxidermy.

Families and Kids

Children up to 18 years get free admission. A 'Kinderspur' (children's trail) puzzle booklet guides young visitors playfully through all three exhibitions. Birthday parties for children are offered at CHF 200 for 2 hours including cake and admission.
