The Heimatmuseum Trubschachen in the Stöckli (built 1783) shows an authentically furnished apartment and conveys the domestic, agricultural and commercial past of the Emmental region in Gotthelf's times through guided tours. The Spycher from 1785 displays historical tools and changing exhibitions.
