Heimatmuseum Sissach

The Heimatmuseum Sissach is a local history museum in Sissach, Switzerland, dedicated to regional and local folklore and history. Its permanent exhibition presents a unique collection of Baselbieter traditional costumes with silver jewellery, an extensive weapons collection, and weaving looms and passementerie (Posamenter) from the region. The museum also hosts changing temporary exhibitions on themes of Baselbieter history. The listed building, owned by the Bürgergemeinde Sissach, has been a museum since 1922.
