Heimatmuseum Ackerhus
The Heimatmuseum Ackerhus in Ebnat-Kappel presents Toggenburg domestic culture from four centuries in a historic 18th-century timber-framed house. The collection includes painted furniture, farmhouse paintings, ornaments, house organs, and neck zithers that tell of everyday life, faith, and craftsmanship in the region. Special exhibitions and cultural events complement the permanent display.
Families and Kids
Children up to 14 years have free admission. The museum offers a children's craft afternoon ('Wir bauen zusammen ein Toggenburger Haus') and a puppet theatre performance. The museum is wheelchair and pushchair accessible.
