Heimat- und Rebbaumuseum

The Heimat- und Rebbaumuseum in Spiez, Switzerland, has existed since 1986 as an ensemble of three buildings from the early 18th century, designated as a cultural asset of national importance. It includes a Simmental farmhouse with a Spycher and baroque farm garden as well as the last surviving Spiez wine press barn (Trüel) with its imposing grape press. In the basement of the residential building are the original wine cellar and a workshop of the last Spiez barrel coopers, and on the ground floor a historic kitchen. The upper floor houses a permanent exhibition on local history, local heritage and viticulture themes, and the attic floor shows changing temporary exhibitions.
