Hegi Castle

Hegi Castle in Winterthur (Switzerland) is a historic castle with a museum that brings to life the building's history and the stories of its former inhabitants. Visitors can take part in guided tours enriched by the theatre group with scenic interludes from former castle life. The castle also includes a public castle park, a plant garden with old vegetable varieties, a tortoise enclosure and the Schloss Schenke tavern. The museum is open from May to October with guided tours every Sunday at 10:30, 13:00 and 15:00; the Schloss Schenke tavern is open on weekends from May to October (Saturday 14:00–21:00, Sunday 11:00–19:00).

    Registration by email is possible but not required. Tickets are available from 10:00 at the museum box office.
