Greenhouses of the Botanical Garden
The greenhouses of the JURASSICA Botanical Garden in Porrentruy, Switzerland, are the gateway to the plant world, housing tropical greenhouses, a carnivorous plant and fern greenhouse, an orchid and bromeliad greenhouse, a succulent plant greenhouse and a Mediterranean greenhouse. The collections include over 400 orchids, more than 450 Tillandsia species, cacti and succulents, carnivorous plants and Mediterranean citrus plants. The greenhouses also host a small exhibition on the evolution of plants in the entrance hall.
Families and Kids
The botanical garden offers educational and playful devices for children to experience the five senses, including a sensory garden and a pedagogical beehive with an Apiparcours. Guided tours and workshops for school classes are also available.
