Globe of Science and Innovation
The Globe of Science and Innovation is CERN's iconic wooden landmark in Meyrin, Switzerland, near Geneva. Designed as a sustainable building for Expo '02, it serves as an outreach and communication tool for CERN. The Globe is accessible to the public for temporary exhibitions, conferences, panel discussions, film screenings and artistic performances, and can also be rented for private events. It is part of the wider CERN Science Gateway experience, which offers interactive exhibitions on particle physics and the Universe.

Families and Kids

The Globe and Science Gateway offer interactive exhibitions suitable for children aged 8 and above, along with science shows for ages 4+, lab workshops for ages 5+ and films for ages 12+. Visitors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children's earmuffs can be borrowed at the welcome reception.
