The Jardin botanique de Genève in Geneva, Switzerland, is one of the world's oldest botanical gardens, founded in 1817. It houses over 11,000 plant species from around the world across 28 hectares, including rare and threatened species, in one of the few botanical gardens cultivated organically. The garden features greenhouses, an arboretum, rock gardens, and a scientific mediation space, and hosts changing temporary exhibitions.

Opening hours

The garden is open free of charge all year round. The mediation space is open Wednesday and Friday from 13:00 to 17:00, Saturday from 14:00 to 18:00, and Sunday from 12:00 to 18:00.
