Fort de Pré Giroud

A military fortification disguised as a chalet, used by Swiss troops during World War II. The museum recreates soldiers' life from 1939-1945 with period weapons, equipment, and 80 mannequins, recounting key events at the border such as the French military retreat, the arrival of German troops, and the liberation of Doubs in September 1944.
