Fondation Claude Verdan - Musée de la Main
The Musée de la Main UNIL-CHUV in Lausanne, Switzerland, is a museum dedicated to scientific and cultural mediation, presenting thematic exhibitions at the crossroads of science, culture and society. Since 1997 it has offered immersive and participatory exhibitions that invite reflection on contemporary issues shaping our bodies and perceptions. The museum also preserves the collection of Professor Claude Verdan, a pioneer of hand surgery, comprising over 1,600 objects related to the hand. It hosts changing temporary exhibitions on scientific themes.
Families and Kids
The museum offers a family game trail (from age 6) with a torch to explore the world of micro-organisms, as well as birthday workshops for children aged 8-12. The current exhibition is adapted for children from age 10.
