The Espace Jean Tinguely – Niki de Saint Phalle in Fribourg, Switzerland, is a museum dedicated to the creativity of two emblematic figures of twentieth-century art. Housed in a building erected in 1900 that originally served as a depot for the Fribourg tramways, it presents Tinguely's masterpiece Retable de l'Abondance occidentale et du Mercantilisme totalitaire (1989/90) and Niki de Saint Phalle's 22 reliefs Remembering (1997/98). In addition to these permanent works, the Espace regularly hosts changing temporary exhibitions featuring Swiss and international artists whose creations enter into dialogue with the art of Jean Tinguely and Niki de Saint Phalle.
