Espace des inventions

The Espace des inventions is a science, technology and culture discovery centre in Lausanne, Switzerland, located in the Vallée de la Jeunesse park. Aimed at the general public and especially children, it offers interactive exhibitions, workshops and events designed to develop observation, creativity, critical thinking and curiosity. The institution has been open since December 2000 and welcomes between 25,000 and 30,000 visitors a year. It also hosts changing temporary exhibitions.

Families and Kids

The Espace des inventions is especially aimed at children, with interactive exhibitions recommended from age 7 and workshops open only to children. During the summer and autumn school holidays, week-long holiday camps are organised for children aged 7 to 11, combining science, art and crafts.
