Engelberg Valley Museum
The Talmuseum Engelberg is a local history museum housed in the historic 'Wappenhaus' (coat-of-arms house) in the village center of Engelberg. Its permanent exhibitions cover the valley's history, local dialect, traditional costumes, and the relationship between the valley and the Benedictine monastery founded in 1120, as well as the transformation of Engelberg into a world-famous spa resort and winter sports destination.
