Emmentaler Schaukäserei

The Emmentaler Schaukäserei in Affoltern im Emmental (Switzerland) is the home of the genuine Emmentaler AOP. On the grounds with several historic cheese-dairy buildings, visitors experience the history and production of the famous cheese, including on the self-guided indoor experience tour Königsweg. Guided tours, fresh-cheese workshops and the making of Stöcklikäse over an open fire are also offered. A cheese speciality shop, a bakery and a restaurant complete the experience.

Families and Kids

The Emmentaler Schaukäserei is an experience for the whole family. On the grounds there is a large cheese-themed children's playground with cheese trampoline, hamster wheel and giant swing, as well as dwarf goats and grazing cows.
