Electricity Museum Kappelerhof Power Plant Baden
The Elektromuseum at the Kappelerhof power plant in Baden showcases over 130 years of hydropower history. Visitors can see a fully preserved machine group from 1918, historical electrical apparatus, and interactive exhibits on how electricity was generated, transported, and consumed. The museum is part of the Limmat-Wasserschloss industrial heritage trail.

The museum offers hands-on exhibits and interactive experiments suitable for children. Guided tours for groups are available, and the museum can be visited independently. Note that visitors must be able to climb stairs; the guided tour is not recommended for people with pacemakers or hearing implants due to magnetic fields.
