Dal mulino alla cartiera, exhibition
Located in the annex building of the Mulino di Bruzella in the Valle di Muggio, Switzerland, this permanent exhibition explores the art of milling and the hydraulic machines of the Breggia river. Curated by architect Thomas Meyer, it presents the various forms of water-powered machines used for grinding, pounding, sawing and beating. The exhibition is part of the Museo etnografico della Valle di Muggio (MEVM), an ecomuseum spread across the valley territory.
Families and Kids
The mill and its exhibition offer an instructive visit for children, who can understand how the large machine works with its water intake, mill race, iron wheel, transmission mechanism, hopper and bolter. School activities for children are available by reservation, including an interactive visit to the functioning mill.
