Command Bunker Border Brigade 8

The Command Bunker Haslen was built in the early 1960s and served as a secret command post for Border Brigade 8 of the Swiss Army until 1994. The underground facility comprises over 30 office and sleeping rooms, an engine room, telephone exchange, kitchen, and soldiers' mess. The Cold War is the main theme of the exhibition, featuring a recreated brigade staff, a functioning telephone exchange, and an elaborate terrain model.
