Collection de l'Art Brut

The Collection de l'Art Brut in Lausanne is the world's first public museum dedicated entirely to Art Brut, founded on Jean Dubuffet's 1971 donation. It holds over 70,000 works by self-taught artists on the margins of society, with a permanent exhibition of about 700 pieces in the Château de Beaulieu.

Families and Kids

The museum offers a dedicated educational space 'La Cabane' for ages 0-6, multi-sensory guided visits for toddlers (from age 2), creative workshops for children, and free activity booklets. A children's book 'Six Little Stories of Art Brut' is available. Facilities include a changing table, bottle warmer, stroller loan, and a nearby playground.
