CIPAD Museum
The CIPAD (Communauté d'Intérêts Pour l'Artillerie de Dailly) association preserves and showcases the historic military fortifications of the Dailly site in Lavey-Morcles, Switzerland, near the Dent de Morcles. Visitors can explore 2 kilometres of formerly top-secret underground galleries and discover the life of soldiers during the Cold War, as well as the evolution of Swiss fortress construction from 1892 to the present. The site also includes the Sapinhaut artillery fort near Saxon, built in 1991, one of the last fortress works constructed in Switzerland. Guided tours are offered, and the site hosts changing temporary exhibitions.
