Château de Vaas

The Château de Vaas is a historic building in the hamlet of Vaas near Flanthey, Switzerland, in the heart of the vineyard, about 10 minutes by car from Sion and Sierre. The centuries-old building houses an oenothèque dedicated to regional wines, particularly the cornalin, a very old indigenous grape variety, with a permanent and free exhibition devoted to it. The castle also showcases other local products through a small restaurant and offers guided and unaccompanied visits of the building and its exhibition.
