The Château de La Sarraz in La Sarraz, Switzerland, is a medieval castle built in 1049 that was continuously inhabited for over 900 years by noble Vaudois families until 1948. Its permanent exhibition "900 ans de dynasties" presents a furnished interior with around a dozen period rooms, as well as collections of furniture, paintings, archives, books and everyday objects from the Middle Ages to the mid-20th century. The castle also hosts changing temporary exhibitions and offers guided tours in French, German and English.
