Château de Grandson
The Château de Grandson, located in Grandson, Switzerland, overlooking Lake Neuchâtel, is a medieval fortress shaped by nearly a thousand years of history and the site of the famous 1476 battle between Charles the Bold and the Confederates. The castle houses a museum with a permanent exhibition spanning 15 rooms and 4 floors, tracing its history from the first medieval tower to today's heritage issues. Since 1980, the Fondation du Château de Grandson has been promoting the historical and natural heritage of the monument, which is undergoing major restoration until 2026.
