Centre Emys

The Centre Emys in Chavornay is a unique turtle protection and recovery center in Switzerland. It houses around 3,000 turtles and has a strong educational focus to raise visitor awareness about the protection of these animals. The center is also a key interface for the preservation of Switzerland's only native turtle, the European pond turtle (Cistude).
