Castle of Chenaux
Château de Chenaux is located in the heart of the medieval town of Estavayer-le-Lac in Switzerland, overlooking Lake Neuchâtel. Built from 1284, the castle was expanded into a fortress over the centuries and still serves today as the seat of the prefecture of the canton of Fribourg. Of the original three towers, only one remains, the current dovecote. The interior is not open to the public; only the keep (donjon) can be visited.
