Cartoonmuseum Basel
Switzerland's only museum dedicated exclusively to narrative art, featuring a collection of over 12,000 original works of cartoons, caricatures, and comics from around 700 artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. The museum presents carefully curated temporary exhibitions on current themes or individual artists, showcasing drawings, comics, graphic novels, and animation.
Families and Kids
The museum offers workshops, summer workshops, Cartoon Sundays, and Comic-Jams for children and families. Children up to 10 years get free admission. Workshops are suitable from age 7 or 8 depending on the activity.
