Cantonal Museum of Natural History

The Cantonal Museum of Natural History in Lugano researches, documents, studies and disseminates knowledge about the natural heritage of the Canton of Ticino. Its permanent exhibition of 1100 m² features dioramas of Ticino's most significant environments, as well as collections of minerals, fossils, fungi, and insects. The museum also organizes educational activities, workshops, and temporary exhibitions.

Families and Kids

The museum offers thematic animations for children aged 4-11 and teenagers aged 11-14, as well as creative ateliers using natural and recycled materials. Children must be accompanied by an adult during ateliers.
