Spiez Castle

Spiez Castle in Spiez on Lake Thun (Canton of Bern, Switzerland) is a castle complex over 1300 years old with a castle museum, castle church and castle park. The castle museum tells the story of the former residents from three noble families (Strättligen, Bubenberg, Erlach) and offers insights into past times in the medieval residential tower, Gothic rooms and the Baroque hall. The Romanesque castle church from the 11th century with unique frescoes is a cultural asset of national importance. The castle also hosts changing art exhibitions and a castle café.
