Château de La Sarraz
The Château de La Sarraz in La Sarraz, Switzerland, is a medieval castle built in 1049 that was continuously inhabited for 900 years by noble Vaudois families. Its permanent exhibition "900 ans de Dynasties" presents furnished period rooms and collections of furniture and paintings among the finest in Switzerland. Visitors receive the keys to the castle for a free and interactive tour with content available in French, German and English. The castle also hosts changing temporary exhibitions and events.
Families and Kids
The castle offers the workshop "Construis ton château médiéval" for children aged 6 to 16, where they can visit the donjon and build their own medieval castle out of clay. Mediation workshops and birthday formulas are also available on reservation, and the interactive tour with the castle keys is adapted for all ages.
