    The museum is partially accessible for those with reduced mobility. The main floor with 12 rooms can be reached by a wheelchair-friendly lift or stairlift, but the keep, walkway, tower and upper floors are only accessible by steep stairs.

    The castle can be reached by bus 461 from Burgdorf train station to the Kronenplatz stop, which is about 200 metres from the castle. It is also a 15-minute walk through the old town from the station.

    Yes, public castle tours for visitors of all ages take place on Sundays at 1:30 pm when no other activities are scheduled. Various themed tours and workshops are also offered for families, schools and groups.
