Bregaglia Engadin

Bregaglia Engadin
Bregaglia Engadin is an idyllic Alpine valley in the canton of Graubünden in eastern Switzerland, linking the north with the south and connecting the Grisons to Italy. The valley is rural and mountainous, a high-Alpine landscape rather than a lake-dominated region, and it is the birthplace of the artist Alberto Giacometti. The municipality of Bregaglia serves the valley, with the tourism organisation Bregaglia Turismo promoting the area. The region is characterised by its authentic, unspoilt character and its position as a cultural and geographical bridge between Switzerland and Italy.
