Botanical Garden of the University of Fribourg

The Botanical Garden of the University of Fribourg, located in the Pérolles district of Fribourg, Switzerland, presents over 5,000 plant species across 22 themed sectors, including an arboretum and three greenhouses open to visitors. Founded in 1937, this 1.8-hectare open-air museum is free and open every day of the year. It hosts public events such as exhibitions, conferences, workshops and guided tours, and carries out conservation and research projects worldwide. The garden also hosts changing temporary exhibitions.
