Bois du Petit-Château

Located in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, the Bois du Petit-Château zoo is part of the MUZOO institution, which combines a zoo, a vivarium and a natural history museum. Created in 1891, the animal park has grown into a real zoo with a vivarium section presenting reptiles and amphibians. The site also houses scientific collections of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates, as well as geology and palaeontology collections. The zoo hosts changing temporary exhibitions on nature and the environment.
