Beyer Clock and Watch Museum Zurich
The Beyer Clock and Watch Museum is located in the basement of the shop at Bahnhofstrasse 31 in Zurich, Switzerland, and houses one of the world's most important private clock and watch collections. The permanent exhibition with over 250 objects tells the story of time measurement from the Egyptian water clock around 1400 BC to the modern quartz watch. Visitors can see curiosities and automatons, record-breaking small clocks, valuable pocket watches, rare table clocks with planetariums, porcelain clocks, marine chronometers and complicated wristwatches. The museum also offers changing special exhibitions and guided tours.
