Basel Paper Mill
Housed in a medieval paper mill, the museum spans four floors covering the history of paper, writing, and printing through to the finished book. Visitors can try their hand at papermaking, printing, and writing at hands-on stations.
Families and Kids
The museum offers many hands-on stations: papermaking, printing, writing with quill and pen, marbling and more. The visit is recommended from age 6. Children under 6 are not allowed at the activity stations for safety reasons.
