BärenPark
The BärenPark in Bern, Switzerland, is an open-air bear park in the middle of the city, where brown bears live on a roughly 5,000 square metre site stretching from the former bear pit down to the banks of the river Aare. The park is barrier-free and can be explored with the free BäreBähnli panoramic inclined lift, which connects the upper viewing platform with the lower riverside promenade. Visitors can observe the resident brown bear family and learn about the biology of Europe's largest land predator. The park also hosts changing temporary exhibitions and events.
