Aviaries

The aviaries at Landsgemeindeplatz in Zug have been home to native and exotic birds for over 100 years. Around 50 bird species live in two architecturally appealing city aviaries (Fasanerie and Neue Voliere). The Ornithological Association of the City of Zug (OVZ) manages the facilities and participates in conservation breeding programs for endangered bird species.
