Altes Schlachthaus (Luginbühl)
The Altes Schlachthaus in Burgdorf, Switzerland, is a museum of contemporary art dedicated to the complete works of the Bernese iron sculptor Bernhard Luginbühl. In the historic 13th-century building, which once served as a hospital, chapel and slaughterhouse, around 40 sculptures and reliefs in iron and wood are on display. The museum presents Luginbühl's work in exhibition cycles and also shows works by fellow artists. It also hosts changing temporary exhibitions.
