The Altes Bad Pfäfers in Pfäfers, Switzerland, is the oldest preserved Baroque bathhouse in the country, located in the wild-romantic Tamina gorge. The museum presents the history of the bath and bathing culture from the discovery of the healing spring in 1240 to the last bathing season in 1969. Visitors can explore the historic bathhouse with its old tub baths, the old kitchen, the Belle Époque dining hall, the chapel and the old guest rooms, as well as the Paracelsus memorial and the monastery museum of Pfäfers. The site also hosts changing temporary exhibitions and events.
