Solarskilift Tenna

Solarskilift Tenna is a small ski area in the Safiental valley in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. The area has one ski lift with prepared pistes, a snow play area with a carousel for the youngest visitors, and private ski and snowboard lessons. A winter hiking trail (Solarweg) and a sledging run lead around the lift.

The ski lift operates daily from 09:30 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 16:00 during the winter season from 20 December 2025 to 8 March 2026 (season opening as soon as there is enough snow).

Admission fees

The Solarskilift Tenna offers season passes, 7-day week passes, day and half-day tickets, and single rides for adults and children. Children up to their 6th birthday ride free, and residents of the municipality of Safiental ride free up to their 16th birthday. For organised groups of 12 or more, one adult rides free with a week pass.

FAQ

  • What winter activities besides skiing are available in Tenna?
    There is a sledging and winter hiking trail from Ausserberg to the Pflanzgarten, and a winter hiking loop (Solarweg) from the Solarskilift via the Püscha to Innerberg. Sledges can be rented for CHF 5.00 per day.
  • Is ski and snowboard instruction available at the Solarskilift?
    Yes, private lessons are offered for children and, on request, for adults. Ski lessons are given by Jann-Marco Buchli and snowboard lessons by Ueli Schaufelberger; participants must arrange their own insurance.
  • Who rides free at the Solarskilift Tenna?
    Children up to their 6th birthday ride free, and residents of the municipality of Safiental ride free up to their 16th birthday.
